Charity Abseils - ArcelorMittal Orbit
Raise money for a great cause with an event like no other
WHY ABSEIL THE ORBIT?
Charity abseils down London’s ArcelorMittal Orbit – the tallest sculpture in the UK- are perfect for adventurous fundraisers eager to enjoy the ultimate urban adventure experience while raising lots of money for their favourite causes.
The 114-metre tall tower, which is located in the heart of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, has become one of the city’s most recognised landmarks since opening as part of the 2012 London Olympics.
It’s the ideal, high profile location for a charity event and it’s sure to capture the imagination of your colleagues, friends and family.
Fearless fundraisers will be able to take in unrivalled 20-mile views across the city and beyond as they step outside the tower’s viewing platform before embarking on their dramatic 80-metre descent.
It’s an unforgettable experience and one which will not only encourage donations but also provide you with lifelong memories.
Tens of thousands of pounds have been raised for charities from people deciding to undertake this thrilling and unique abseil – Will you be next?
Our eldest customer is Walter Parish who abseiled in May 2017 at the age of 91 for his chosen charity Isabel Hospice (featured above).
Celebrities that have abseiled with us include Emma Bunton from the Spice Girls and Jamie Theakston in aid of Global Radio’s Make Some noise campaign live on Heart Radio.
“At 73 I needed a new experience! I can honestly say we couldn't have been better looked after. I was terrified at one point but I just put myself in the hands of these professionals and concentrated on their clear instructions as I prepared to take that first step off the ledge. I would rate it as probably one of the best days of my life and its given me so much confidence . It's perfectly safe. And you feel such a sense of achievement afterwards. Wire & Sky make it a really positive experience. And I raised £300 for Moorfields Eye Hospital."
